This is something I naturally assumed but then I realized I don't know it as fact, please correct me if I am wrong.

No one's mind is going to be changed by an internet forum.  I was a waitress when I was young and was proud I had a job!   I always tip VERY generously but don't denigrate those that do not.

What does it accomplish?  

NOTHING!
