Going on our 50th cruise in February, we will have $1700 on board credit. Probably won't spend that much,, wondering if we have a balance that we don't use, can we cash out the balance at the casino the last night.

I heard that onboard credit was non-refundable and non-transferable, but not exactly sure how to answer that question.

it depends on the onboard credit, some is refundable and some is non refundable. It is best to start making phones to your travel agent/carnival and figure out how much is non refundable and how much is non refundable.

It is supposed to be non refundable according to the rules. On my 25th in Feb part was refunable and part non refundable. I went to quest servies to check and all he said was that is what i had. I did not trust them so i went to the Casino and put 200 dollars on my sign and sail card then cashed in after losing ten dollars,. I lost that plus the 3 per cent. When i left the cruise I had 18 dollars left and received a check for that amount when i got home. CHeck you onboard account when you get on and it should tell you what it is. Some people have talked about putting money in the slot and then cashing out. I do not know how to do that but someone i am sure on the boat will.
