PixieMom3 Posted June 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2019 There are three of us in a room and the third person was "free" (other than taxes). Looking at trip insurance, I need to buy within 21 days for cancel for work reasons because of my job, and I'm confused on what amount to put for each of us. Need to book things separately since one person lives in another state. Should I divide by three?

kochleffel Posted June 20, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2019 For the cruise fare, the question is how you would handle it if the entire trip had to be cancelled: would the third person share in the loss, or not? You do need to attribute expense to the third person, in order for the person to have coverage for anything else that the insurance would cover: trip interruption or delay, lost baggage, medical. Don't forget to include the costs of travel to and from the port.
