What are some good DIY excursion ideas for nassau and freeport ?

Have you tried the port forums? Full of info on these particular ports and excursions. Those are the forums to ask and research in.

I did Nassau on my own last time. The only thing I did that cost money was the forts. I think they were $2-3 each.

In Freeport I took a cab to the brewery. I believe the tour was $10 and it included 45 minutes of beer drinking.

I read your review of the brewery. Did you pre-book your tour? Did they just wait till they had enough people? you took the hop on/off bus for $11. Was that per person? Was that just one way?
