MS Rotterdam - DVD-Player - Country-Code restriction?

Hi,

we know there is no movie streaming on Rotterdam cabins, but rather a dvd-player. One can borrow dvd at the guest desk. So far so good. If we bring our own dvds (German ones in our case) would it be possible to play those or will a country code restriction block this? Any experience?

That is a great question!  I had forgotten about DVD regions and Pal/NTSC formats!
