ridethetide Posted August 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2019 I just noticed that the Wind Star will be sailing from Colon to Nassau on 2/20/21. There is a void in her schedule for a month, and then she sails to Lisbon on 3/26/21. I wonder if she is going into dry dock for that month or will they be adding itineraries in the Bahamas. I'd love to sail on her in the Bahamas. Has anyone heard anything about this?
Misty Morning Posted August 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2019 More than likely a drydock in Freeport. The Star is due for a major drydock as the Spirit had one about a year ago
dandee2 Posted September 3, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Considering the Hurricane, this might take place somewhere else as the Grand Bahama Shipyard might have been hit also.

This is in 2021, almost two years from now.
ducklite Posted September 4, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2019 It could also be a series of charters.

I'm just saying this as if you look at Sin Marteen it took roughly 18 months to be able to look a bit like it used to be. France and the Netherland contributed a lot in the rebuilding.
