Adult vs Premium beverage package

We are cruising out of Miami at the end of January.  We received the Adult Beverage package as part of our cruise booking.  I was just doing check in and was offered the Premium Beverage Package.  I've been searching and can't find what is included in our current package and if upgrading is worth the money.

What is the difference?  Thanks!

It's odd the standard drink package includes a can of beer but not a can of soda or bottle of water. The premium package includes all the non alcoholic drinks in cans or bottles, specialty coffee, and some of the wines you can get by the bottle - nice for dinner.

On Carnival they sell bottled water onboard dirt cheap by the case, and it's allowed to bring on 12 packs of can soda. You can also bring on one bottle of wine per person without corkage fee. However the NCL package is cheaper, if you get it as a perk, and you can always get free water or soda by the glass with the package. Come to think of it you can get free water by the glass without the package.😉

We are planning to bring refillable sports bottles for water, especially while off the ship, so bottled water will not be needed. Ships make their own water and it is tastier than any bottled water I have ever had.
