Mariner points question

We prepaid gratuities and already purchased specialty dining and shore excursions for next month's Koningsdam cruise.  Will this be applied as onboard spending for points towards our next mariner star status?  I know you get 1 point for every 300.00 spent on board, but wondering if pre-purchased items count.  Thanks.

Yes, pre-purchased items count toward your onboard spending bonus.

Except pre-purchased OBC. That's really a cash deposit toward your actual on-board spending, because what you don't use you get back. What you do use counts.

HAL will credit your spending into points after the cruise.  They are very generous in rounding up I've discovered.  For example, $267 counts as one day.  Very nice.
