Upgrade Bid Question

Hi all - I just received an email to bid on an upgrade for our upcoming cruise on POA in March.  We currently have a mid-ship balcony on deck 9.  If I bid on anything it would be on a penthouse suite with large balcony.  Minimum bid is $600 per person.  I've never gone through this process before so I guess I was looking for a little guidance.  The normal balcony rooms are small compared to other ships in the fleet so the extra space would be nice.  But then again I heard you don't spend a lot of time on the ship because the cruise is so port intensive. So there you have it.  What would you do, and if I were to bid, how much above the minimum would I need to bid (I realize this could vary)  Thanks for your input.

Hawaii is beautiful. And you should try to take in every minute ashore. From sunrises on top of volcanoes. To evening luaus. And daytime beaches and hiking (or shopping).

If you’re lucky, you’ll see lava flowing into the ocean on the big island and the beauty of the Na Pali coast on Kauai during sail aways.

Have a great cruise!

The POA is nothing more than a bed at night and perhaps a meal here or there

a moveable bed & breakfast resort

Maximize your on shore excursions - adventures - experiences.

You might find it to return to the islands for a NON-NCL cruise to see more.

Think of taking in Pre-Post cruise land activity if this is a one time visit.

Each of the islands have something unique to entertain your lifestyle

Hawaii is the destination not the POA

ALOHA !
