The Cruiseman 1 Posted December 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2019 What site do people use to determine how full the ship is or what cabins may still be available? Want to see how many mini suites or Haven units may still be available for my upcoming cruise on the Encore end of January! Thanks!
gizfish Posted December 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2019 You can do a mock booking on any travel site, or at the NCL site itself. In general, the most rooms they will show available in a category is 15. So, if you see 15 available, odds are there are more that are actually available. Sometimes if there are not a lot of a specific category to begin with, (like certain Haven cats) the 15 rule doesn't apply.

The Cruiseman 1 Posted December 4, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted December 4, 2019 So when we do this if they only show 5-6 cabins we should assume that category is very full?

Only thing you can assume is if they show 15 there are likely even more rooms in that cat. If it shows 5 than that is how many are available. If there are not a lot of rooms in the cat to begin with we don't know what the most # they will show as available.

Well, that may not actually be accurate because groups (travel agencies, individuals, NCL, etc) may have a hold on a block that are not actually confirmed. You might refresh your screen 5 minutes later and 20 may become available. There's really no way for anyone to have an accurate picture of occupancy but gizfish's advice is as close as you'll get.
