PghSunny Posted December 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2019 Hi. I booked one of the new balcony staterooms on Deck 11 and I’m having trouble finding information. The staterooms are underlined in the photo attached, 1152, 1150, 1100, 1102, 1104. I’ve stayed in a forward facing ocean view room (window, no balcony) on deck 6 on Adventure and enjoyed it. I’m trying to find out the size of the balcony, if it’s sunny or shaded, quiet or noisy. I’m taking my 17 year old son again, I think he’ll love the location. I’d love to be able to have room for a lounge chair on the balcony, it looks big enough. The rep for casino royale said it’s a standard size balcony. That doesn’t seem right based on the deck plan. Thanks in advance.
PghSunny Posted December 5, 2019 Author #2 Share Posted December 5, 2019 I don’t know why the photo posted in the middle. Sorry about that. I’m on my phone.
Clarea Posted December 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2019 According to the deck plan, the balcony is somewhere between 42 and 68 square feet.
cjmac Posted December 17, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2019 I have 1 of these cabins booked and was also looking for video or pictures. I did find a video of the JS next door that shows the divider between the cabins, giving an idea of the depth of the balcony. Also a picture from above showing 2.lounge chairs. Hopefully it opens below. Here is the link to the site with the video. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/deckbydeck.php?ship=Navigator-of-the-Seas&deck=11 Overhead view.pdf
IrishKevinCan Posted July 20, 2020 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2020 Did any of you ever complete your stays? I have 1158 booked but curious if 1150 might be better.
erinsmom03 Posted November 23, 2020 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2020 I don't know if you are still interested in knowing what this type room looks like, but I found a video and thought I would share. I have found information on these rooms very hard to find!

erinsmom03 Posted December 11, 2020 #8 Share Posted December 11, 2020 I've seen a lot of people mention that the view of the panoramic suites above would look right onto these balconies and you would have no privacy. I've found one video for room 1802. To me, I honestly don't see that there would be much of a privacy issue. No more so that lower aft balconies. The balconies are a little narrow, but I would love to try one some day.
hotwheels920 Posted December 11, 2020 #9 Share Posted December 11, 2020 I was in 1854 (the no balcony panoramic suite), looking down onto those balconies seemed so intrusive. The couple in the room below mine was extra touchy on their balcony, they had zero privacy.
kwokpot Posted December 11, 2020 #10 Share Posted December 11, 2020 On my last cruise this year, 3/2-6/20, I had Junior Suite # 1108. The cabin location is certainly convenient and the balony was huge. Unfortunately the way it's situated meant it never received full sunshine for too long of a period. I actually ended up sunning elsewhere on the ship. Regarding the room itself it was just OK. Very small bathroom, no tub. Furniture was nonexistent. No loveseat just a small single seat easy chair. I wouldn't book that cabin again.
