Mr&MrsBee Posted January 6, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Finally booked an accessible on the Connie cabin 8176 that is aft. Where can rental scooter be parked? Location of bed? Any pictures of cabin? Pros or cons? Furniture? Any helpful hints? Thanks in advance. Ship is the Connie out of Tampa. Rare Essiesmom Posted January 6, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2020 There are plenty of pictures of those aft HC cabins on cruisedeckplans. Room inside the cabin for half a dozen scooters. EM

Rare Essiesmom Posted January 7, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) Easy peasy. go to www.cruisedeckplans.com. Choose your cruise line, then any of the M class ships. (Millie, Connie, Infinity, Summit). On the left hand side, scroll down to balcony cabins, click on handicap. It will list all of the HC cabins, and if there it a tiny camera icon next to it, click on it to see the cabin pictures. The cabins on 7,8,9 deck will all be the same layout. Cruisedeckplans is a very handy tool and it might be of benefit to you to bookmark it for the future. Lady Jane Posted January 10, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 10, 2020 Cabin 8176 is wonderful. We're staying in it in April on the Summit, but we've been in it before. It's very big...scooter can easily be ridden right into the room to be stored and charged. The balcony is HUGE! I predict you will love this cabin! P.S. to my post about the room. When are you sailing? We're on the Connie out of Tampa on Nov 21. We've booked an accessible Sky Suite for this cruise. Mr&MrsBee Posted January 11, 2020 Author #8 Share Posted January 11, 2020 We are not sailing until Dec 13. We are less than 2 hours to port. Have not been on Connie for some time. Waiting to go under the Sunshine Skyway as we go over many times as we head to the gulf.

Very spacious and the balcony is palatial. Make friends onboard so you can have them all for drinks back there!Have a great voyage. Orlando Vic Posted October 11, 2020 #10 Share Posted October 11, 2020 I have only used accessible cabins on Princess, but assume all cruise lines give you more square footage for them. Your scooter should fit nicely inside and not hamper your movements.
