Parking in Nola

Does anyone know if the parking area at port in Nola for RCI is covered and or secured? We live about an hour away from port and are trying to decide if we park at port or at family house and Uber or Lyft to port. Any information would be helpful. We are on Majesty in April.

There is covered parking right at the port.  Depending on how far your family lives from the port and how long your cruise is, Uber/Lyft would most likely be cheaper.

Thank you, do you know if the walk from parking lot to terminal is covered?

The parking lot for Royal Caribbean is not covered but is secured. It is Katy-corner from the Julia terminal but you have to walk over some railroad tracks and across one street. The walk is mostly covered.

You can also pre-reserve parking at www.neworleansparking.com

Thank you all. Is there a place for drop off at terminal, it may be closer to just get dropped off. It has rained on last two Carnival cruises first days,but the garage is a building so no issues.

Yes, there is a small drop off area in front of the terminal.
