Rate codes-OTM AND OTQ

i Booked our cruise and I, and I only got DOU  I am tying to figure out a way to get my husband included.  He has 2 offers for those 2 rate codes for DUO, but of course, different terms for OBC etc, than the one we have booked.  Has anyone ever had any luck getting someone else included?  What are those rate codes anyway?  

OH well, I keep trying, never hurts to ask.
