Difference in balconies on Ovation?

Looking into an Alaskan cruise for the first time. What's the difference between a regular balcony and a large balcony? Never done this class of ship before. Anything else I need to know about an Alaskan cruise compared to our normal Caribbean cruises? We'd be going in August.

The cabin size is the exact same.  The only difference is the balcony can be up to 50% larger. They are the angled balconies as the ship just out.

Is there a deck that's preferred for a balcony on these ships?

I'd love to hear more about Alaskan cruises on this ship as there isn't a ton out there

Interesting. I went with one of the large balconies on the edge of a hump so I think I made the right decision
