We are sailing out of San Juan aboard Freedom of the Seas.  We cannot decide between the Caribe Hilton and the Candado Vanderbilt. I have read all the TripAdvisor reviews and am really torn.  I am looking for recommendations between the two.  What are the good and bad of these two properties?    Any help would be appreciated!

A personal choice for beachside retreat would be La Concha over these two.

Thank you!!  Question: How was the noise level of the La Concha?  I see there is a Casino in the La Concha and that the lobby becomes a "club" on the weekends

On last visit in early 2018 the Casino was almost empty, and the "Club" was very small and just added to the holiday vibe, nothing like loudness of the Marriott.

What we liked most was the quality of rooms, the service and that can always find a quiet spot on the beach.  Food was good, but not to Marmalade standard, so we always dined out.

Hope this assists.
