Ok I read this on FB and this is form one of the sports staff onborad. 

 

"as we changed the Flowrider, it’s completely new, the first one of its kind in the world!."

 

 I am not  sure what this means. But maybe @Lloyd555 can post some pics of the "New Wave".

Pretty sure Freedom was the first flow rider at sea - replacing it with the newest model seems fitting!

I glanced at some similar remark while checking out Freedom of the Seas dry dock posts, and have tried to find it again. Still looking.

"The ride surface and the side walls are inflatable so it’s softer to fall on and the wipe out area at the top is a lot longer so you can’t hit the wall at the back. It’s overall much bigger than regular Flowrider."

They extended the back area on the Oasis during her drydock.
