We just received  from Celebrity for our May Summit cruise, it is a bid offer. Princess gave us a  free upgrade on our  November Sky Princess cruise from inside stateroom to a deluxe balcony. The Summit cruise is about 60% full, we sail Celebrity a lot. Do not care for this offer at all. I don't know what they are thinking!

We just received a second offer for our 13 April Apex cruise.  As we are over 70 and our government has issued an advisory for over 70’s not to cruise, so our travel insurance will therefore be invalid we will not be taking this up. We will also be cancelling our 1 August Silhouette cruise as final payment is due in May and we are not happy to have savings we worked hard for tied up in future cruise credits. This is a difficult time for the cruise industry and revenue will be dramatically affected but much as we love Celebrity we feel the Apex cruises should be cancelled.

APEX cruises are cancelled until 11 April. Would think an automated reply.

no it's not, only USA cruises are canceled till the 11th.  You can still purchase a ride on all the apex cruises at this time.

Just seen today’s RC Coronavirus release where they now say cruises suspended globally but will resume on 11th April. The cruise on 13th will then be Apex’s maiden voyage. But we still can’t board her because of invalidation of travel insurance due to our government advisory.

We are cancelling too, for the same reason.

We too are over 70. Just wonder if they will need any proof, not sure when you state your age:

a) at booking

b) when you fill in details on line before you sail.
