Assigned seating question

I read somewhere recently that one cruise line is floating the idea of mandatory room service at least one night for every cabin. I'm sure there will be guidelines by the number of nights of the cruise. Having been on over 50 cruises I have rarely ever ordered room service with the exception of when I've been able to order from the Specialties on Oceania. Not something I would like to be forced to do, especially in one of the smaller cabins.

Sounds like a form of lock down to me.   Sure would let us out.
