What does your TA do for you?

@Wildcatllamas...you sound like a great TA.  I have one similar to you.  She works for one of the big "American discount cruises" agency.  But, I've been with her for a while.  Like you, she kicks in some of her commission to me as either a discount or OBC.  Plus, the agency also kicks in about 10% of the cruise fare in OBC, in addition to whatever the cruise line offers.

Plus, it's dependent on AMEX's promos at the time of booking, but they work with AMEX to get their offers signed to my cruise (even though you have to book using an AMEX card).

I was in MIAMI the night before my cruise was supposed to sail when there was a hurricane on the radar.  My agent, at 1:00 a.m. in the morning of my cruise changed my flights, got a ride for the airport for me, and took care of all the cruise cancellation paperwork for me, all before I got up the next morning.

She looks up countless cruises and cruise fares for me when I give her a date and itinerary I might want to travel.

Her agency, and in particular, her, are wonderful to work with.

When I used an NCL PCC, it was rare when I found one who did much more than book my cruise and bombard me with emails to book another cruise with them.
