If you started it and no one has posted to the thread, send an email to CC Help Jenn, Senior Community Support Specialist, at help@cruisecritic.com. Please send your email to her from your Cruise Critic email address of record and mention your user name. Ask her to delete the thread. She will need the title and link (web address) for the Roll Call thread. However if there are additional posts to the thread by other members, it stays. If one is not there already, use the Reply to this topic button to post that the cruise was cancelled. Hope this will be helpful and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! BLuLQQker Posted March 30, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted March 30, 2021 OK, Why can't these roll calls for specific ship cruises be put in order by date? They are all mixed up and hard to locate, Possibly causing duplicates. Thanks!
1025cruise Posted March 30, 2021 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2021 Threads are sorted by last post, not by title. Roll Calls are no different.

Howdy y'all Actually, you have a choice. Look in the upper right of a Roll Call forum or any other forum. You will see a black button saying SORT BY. When clicked, you will see the following: Custom will show the following for other choices: Also, there is a feature located in your settings: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/settings/links/ You can choose what behavior happens each time when you click on any thread as follows: Take me to comments I haven't read Take me to the beginning Take me to the latest comment As for being hard to find, that's why the following can be found regarding what should be done once you find your Roll Call thread. From What is a Roll Call? Everything you Need to Know: Once you have located your ROLL CALL topic for your line, ship and sail date, you should either bookmark the URL, or Follow the discussion so that you will receive e-mail notification of new posts. To follow a ROLL CALL topic or any topic on any forum: Click Follow at the top of the topic Choose how you would like to be alerted: One email per day with all new content from that day One email per week with all new content from that week Do not send me any notifications Let others see that I follow this Save your choices by clicking the Follow button at the bottom of the list. Please note: If you are a new member, your preference is set to automatically follow any topic that you start or reply to. You will receive an email and notification when any new content is posted to your followed topics. You can always change your preferences by clicking on your member name and choosing Manage Followed Content from the drop down menu. In the future if you ever want to locate your previous posts you can read more here: How to Find your Own Posts As for finding the Roll Call for your sail date, that is why there is a Roll Call Finder Tool at the top of most of the various ship Roll Call forums like this: When used correctly, Roll Call threads for sail dates are found and the user does not create a duplicate. They post on the already established Roll Call thread. And if they do not find their sail date, hopefully they will have read the following from How To: Create A New Roll Call: You will need to be registered and logged in to create a new Roll Call. Register here if you have not yet done so. Click ROLL CALLS Click your Ship's (or Cruise Line's) name to open the correct forum Browse the topic titles shown in the forum to double check there is no existing Roll Call topic for your sail date. Click the Start New Topic button at the top of the Ship's roll call forum. In the Title Box, type the name of your ship, your sail date and year. When you create a new ROLL CALL topic, you MUST include the sail date in the subject line, and here's the suggested format: Example: January 1, 2016 Please note the suggested date format with the month first and spelled out completely will ensure your new Roll Call topic appear in search results Type a message in the message box and click the Submit Topic button. Some additional Roll Call Info: If you see two or more threads for the same sail date please email help@cruisecritic.com to have them merged. We do request 1 roll call per sailing date. This can become a bit confusing when cruise lines sell sailings multiple ways. In those cases we prefer that each segment have it's own roll call, instead of roll calls that span over multiple segments. If there is not a forum for your ship you can post your roll call thread in either the ALL Other RIVER Roll Calls or the All Other CRUISE LINES (Ocean) Roll Calls Still have Questions? You can find Everything you Need to Know about Roll Calls I sincerely hope this additional information will be helpful!
