Future Cruise Credits (earned due to Covid) extended to Dec 2022

This may be old news on here but I tried to search and didn’t find anything.  

 

I just checked my Princess account and my credit (due to a cancelled March 2020 cruise) now says it is good until Dec 2022 when previously it was May 2022.  Happy that they are extending it given the continued delays.  I was likely not going to be able to use it by May but now there is hope again...

Yes, it was announced several weeks ago.

 

They did this because so many 2021 cruises were cancelled (and more might be) that people could not find cruises they wanted by the earlier expiration date.

Thanks for pointing this out. I check my account frequently and just noticed the change in my dates too. Now December 31, 2022 from May 31, 2022.

Thanks for posting, I was thinking that they were going to need to do this. I have all of mine applied to a Hawaii cruise this December but good to know in case that doesn't work out - I might want to do Alaska in summer 2022 instead.

I also have all mine applied, but with all the additional cancellations it doesn't hurt to see that extension.
