Hotel near Tampa international

Going to spend the night after cruise ending in Tampa.  Flights out arrival day are too expensive, so will fly out next day. 

Also, the best way to get to hotel from port. TIA.

The Westshore area is closest to the TPA airport with lots of hotels to choose from (I like the Embassy Suites). Not much farther, and a nicer area IMHO, is the Rocky Point area (where I like the Chase Suites).  Most hotels in both areas will offer free airport shuttles; an Uber from the port will be about $15-20 and a taxi will be $25-30.

Thanks...We might also need to do this when we arrive in Tampa from our Oct 2022 Panama Canal cruise to get us back to the west coast.
