Cruise on hold question

If I put a future cruise on hold, & if I decide to actually book that cruise, & there is a better offer in the few days I’ve been given for the “hold”….I can request the better offer price …right?

I’m not obligated to take the “hold” price right?

Either that or you can just call either your PVP or the main Carnival booking number and tell them your booking number and ask them to switch you to the new offer. They’ll actually cancel your hold booking and make a new one.  Meanwhile you will have held the cabin you wanted.
