Pricing Anomaly

Checking two saved 7 day cruises and Plus is $47 pp pd more than Saver. It has always been $40. There is $50 OBC for Plus so effectively $40 per day. I just find it strange that Princess would do this - I thought they were fixed on the $40 model.

Hmm, just checked several I follow, and all were $40/day.

Yes I checked a few random 2021 cruises, Alaska has $50 per day for Plus with no OBC, Caribbean had usual $40, California Coastal had $47 and $50 OBC. I did not check 2022

I noticed the same thing, so it seams  that when Princess  has a sale, they reduce  the saver price, but not the plus price.

I saw the same. If you look again, the Saver rate also has the $50 OBC. It's just not highlighted in the header.

Maybe they are trying to find which price point people are willing to pay.

Ah I did not check past the initial screen with Saver and Plus option. Maybe the Alaska cruise that shoed a higher Plus price and no OBC had the OBC but not shown in header
