Kruisn'Kay Posted September 29, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2021 I am thinking about the UDP for my cruise on the Odyssey. I have 3 questions: 1. Does it include Chops for lunch on embarkation day? 2. How many times can you use the dining credits at Playmakers and Izumi? 3. Does it include the food at Giovanni’s wine bar? Thank you so much! Merion_Mom Posted September 29, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2021 If Chops is open on embarkation day, you can use the UDP there. There is no limit to the number of times you can eat anywhere. If the restaurant is dollar-limited, you just use (up to) that amount each time. There is no food at the wine bar, AFAIK. On other Quantum class ships, that venue is called Vintages. I think that Odyssey has the same thing with a different name.
AustinCruise Posted September 29, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2021 Izumi you may have to pay an additional $10 for hibachi if you have two protein meal. You can dine multiple times at a single restaurant, so you can leave and come back. But the allocated amount goes a long way.
WanderLuster101 Posted September 29, 2021 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2021 I'm going to piggy back on to ask a question. Can you have two reservations for one night (dinner) with UDP? Or only one? I'm a late dinner eater, but would love to get sashimi from Izumi earlier in the evening as a snack before a late reservation for dinner. Wondering if I can have two reservations or if my best bet is to make my later reservations and try to walk in to Izumi when it opens. (Sailing on Symphony if it makes a difference.) The latter would be the simplest, but I think as long as the reservations don't overlap (min 2 hours between them), booking should also work.
