Celestial Navigator Posted September 30, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2021 Has anyone sailed on Regal in the above mentioned cabin? Is the balcony covered? Privacy? Are there any problems with wind or soot? Is it in a noisy location? Any info you can share will be much appreciated. Thank you.
Sea Hag Posted September 30, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2021 That cabin is below the outside deck area of the buffet, so I wouldn't ever book it. We had a cabin in a similar location quite a few years back, and early morning when they started cleaning and moving chairs around, it got pretty noisy. I'm sure others will say otherwise, but that's just my two cents. 🙂

Is it in a noisy location? We have not been in that particular cabin, but have been in M711 & 715, on the starboard side. The balcony is covered, so no soot. It is very private as there are only a few cabins past it. We did not have noise problems in the early morning. Not to say others have not. Celestial Navigator Posted October 4, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted October 4, 2021 Thank you Sea Hag, KreinKrunker and Skynight for your replies. Much appreciated, Think we will look at an alternate cabin. Be well everyone!
john watson Posted October 4, 2021 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) Classic thinking is cabins both sides, above and below. If you have something else above particularly you need to consider its use and how it might affect your cruise. Open decks normally give rise to early morning loungers being scraped around as they are all set out.
