Connecting suites - Can the wall between the balconies be removed to have one balcony?

We currently have a 2br grand suite on Adventure of the Seas but I am seeing two - 1br grand suites that are connecting available for a lot cheaper.  The rooms are connecting so we would have a door in between but I would want to have a shared balcony too.  Now sure if there are perks with the 2br that are not with the 1 br.  Trying to see why there is such a big price difference and if I can basically get what I want with two - 1brs I might switch.

Not possible.  GS Balconies on Adventure are inside the structure of the ship.  There are metal walls in between balconies instead of doors.

Some balcony rooms, every other one, there is a glass partition.  However this is screwed on and there is no way of opening it up between the two connecting rooms.  We had connecting rooms last month and couldn't open it.  Now if you travel with a tool box I guess you could remove the panel. LOL

Perks would be the same. 
 

The 2br would have a central living room area and a walk in closet if I remember correctly.  I think one bathroom had tub/shower and one was shower.  The balcony is bigger/deeper. 
 

the 2 GS rooms would give two bathrooms each with tub/shower.

Thanks!  Trying to decide if a $2k upcharge is worth keeping the 2br suite.  I like the bigger balcony but not sure I $2k like it LOL!
