Thanks, we had a fantastic time!  We are officially Haven converts now, so it looks like I need to sell my house.🤑

We made the mistake of sailing Haven 4 cruises ago and we can't cruise any other way!  Glad you enjoyed your trip. Were you in a 2-bedroom Haven suite?  We have a bid on one and I wondered how it was. Thanks!!!!

It was incredible - we have always sailed in basic balcony or mini suite cabins and the 2br family villa was like three of those, with upgraded everything.  The bed is a true king size bed with very comfy bedding and pillows. The bath amenities were great and the robes were really nice.  I was surprised they provided a combo shampoo/shower gel but it was really nice stuff (Bvlgari).

We got our cabin via bidding.  Fortunately we got the one with the large balcony on deck 17 instead of the standard balcony on 18 - we were able to have two full size lounge chairs added to the balcony in addition to two chairs and table.  The only weird thing about the balcony is how it can see into the master bathroom - it seems like they maybe hung the privacy blinds backwards or something because even with the blinds down you could see into the shower (but the person in the shower could not see the person on the balcony).  A little disconcerting at first, but no one else can see in except people on your balcony.  Overall we were incredible thrilled with the cabin and the ship, and were very, very sad to have to get off the ship.

Perfect. Thanks so much! We have bids in on both the regular and large balcony.  I may just bite the bullet and upgrade on my own as I have gotten myself set on having the suite 🙂

One more question if you don't mind.  Do you have to insert your keycard to access the room is it now just a "tap" access. Just curious if we'll need to remove our keycards from any lanyard.  First world problems I know. 🙂

Once you go Haven you're locked in!!!  Luxury once sampled becomes necessity!

I think your question was answered elsewhere, but it is a tap system.  We were provided with "leather" card holders in the Haven and even while inside the holder the card still opened the doors.  I did have to hand the card over every time I ordered a drink, so you'll probably run into that.

BTW, we never had to show our cards to board or disembark the ship - it was a facial recognition system that really kind of slowed things down.  I believe it may have also been taking our temperature, so maybe it doubles as a Covid protocol.

It was, thank you. I got impatient 🙂 We got the leather card holder last time which will work great for my husband (I usually get our drinks so I will keep mine handy).  Thanks for the response!! Much appreciated.

These are great and very helpful!  We leave this Saturday but it’s only a 5 night so I’m curious if the main shows will only be one night each.  I’ve never been on a 5 night on one of the big ships so not sure how they adjust.

This is awesome for planning purposes!  Thank you!
