Mazatlan Mardi Gras 2022 traffic problems?

Hi, our Princess cruise ship will be in port on March 1, 2022. We want to do the Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour. However, I wonder if the crowds and the parade route for the 4:30 PM parade will hinder the bus route.

 

My research showed that the parade starts near the Sea Lions Statue. Does the bus go along the Malecon to this statue? If so, do you think the Hop-on Hop-off route will be canceled or changed on that day?

Usually, in this sort of situation, adjustments to bus routes are made.
