Favorite Drink

Im probably a bad person to answer but anything that’s not a virgin drink 🤷🏻‍♂️

And for some reason while we’re cruising, I’m literally going down the line and ordering the frozen drinks. Repeat.  And I NEVER drink those at home or any other type of drinks at home. Im guessing it may be related to the warmer weather and usually (though I hear not MSC) sodium laden food on cruises

Nice topic!

One of my favorite things about cruises is the chance to try new drinks, even though I generally don't finish them. In trying many cocktails, I may find a new favorite. Here is my likely plan during a sea day on our upcoming Caribbean cruise...

Breakfast: Something from the Mimosa or Bellini families. Or, maybe, a Kir Royale or French 75.

After-gym: Mixed-fruit daiquiri for electrolyte replacement.

Lunch: G&T, or possibly a melon patch. If the bar is up to scratch, maybe a Ramos gin fizz.

Afternoon loitering: Bartenders get to show their stuff as I try their best two or three vacation-style creations.

Six o'clock hors d'oeuvres: We're dressed up for the evening and the butler has been asked to deliver the bartender's choice of four drinks of an aperitif style. We'll sip, sample, and compare notes.

Dinner: Sommelier's choice of wines by the glass to match appetizer, entrée, and dessert choices. (Dessert may be best accompanied by a liqueur, rather than a wine.)

Evening loitering: Random sophisti-drinks. Maybe a Sazerac, sidecar, or Vieux Carré.

Nightcap: Perhaps a Brandy Alexander, white spider, or Betsy Ross.

Mine also on the Seaside in Dec. 2019. They definitely aren't a diet drink 🤣

As coincidence would have it, we also had this drink for the first time on Seaside, in late 2019, just before COVID started to catch fire.

@Reenie75

Hello neighbour, I'm from Whitby.  Not to hijack this thread but if you don't mind, can you tell me who you got insurance from?  Also, what are you using to show proof of it to MSC?  Did the insurance company provide a one page summary that shows the Covid coverage?

Thanks!

By the way, another vote for the Frozen Toberone.  Both my husband and daughter can't get enough of them!
