Uber in London?

I have read about the lawsuit against Uber in London and that they were able to secure an 18 month extension. Are they currently operating in London and will their extension run out shortly?

Are they a viable transfer from LHR to a London hotel (especially on a late Friday afternoon?

This company was recommended to me too by the person we are renting and AirBNB from. I reached out to a few companies and this one was the most reasonably priced too.

I also would like to know about using UBER from LHR to Hoel in London.

I have read poor reviews recently about Just Airports.  It seems that there is a problem with enough drivers and with not drivers not being good.

We used Uber in early July to move around London. It worked fine. Don't know about extensions etc.
