Blue Ribbon Cruiser?

Just curious. What is the designation "Blue Ribbon Cruiser" under the photo icon on some folks replies? The only significance I can detect is over 5000 posts. Any other suggestions?

I've been a member since 00 and I barely have over 250. I look at some of the numbers of the people that have joined the boards in 03 and they are near 800, 900, etc. I don't know how they do it. Nancy

they have however decided to award you with a cool cute cruiser motto until you reach the 6900 mark.

I wish I could remember what the first post was! It all started with finding this site from a search engine. At that time, I was like many people who haven't cruised, I had the misconception that it was too expensive. Had always want to go on one but thought it wasn't something I could afford. Boy was I enlightened when I started reading this board! I couldn't book a cruise fast enough LOL My first cruise was on the Inspiration out of NOLA. WOW, what an experience! I fell in love with cruising and from then on, I was hooked! One nice thing I didn't expect was getting to meet people from this board who I now consider some of my closest friends!

When I was married I always wanted to go on a cruise. I would go to a travel agent and ask for brochures and sit and dream. Until I saw the brochure prices and "thought" i could never afford cruising. I dumped the husband and reseached cruising and came upon cruise critic which was located on AOL first. I discovered I can cruise for a lot less then I though. Took my first cruise on the Sensation with my 3 kids and spent a tad more then 2,000 total for everything for a 7 day cruise. Now I am hooked forever.
