Brilliance OTS Cabin GS-1036 Obstructed View

Does anybody know what the obstruction is for GS cabin 1036?  Also, would love to see a photo of the balcony with the obstruction.   We have booked this cabin for our June 19 and 26 cruises.

Hello! Did you ever find out what the obstruction was on the brilliance of the seas 1036 cabin? We are going on our cruise in 11 days and arecurious what to expect.

Depending on how one defines obstruction, there are anywhere between 0 and 4 for this Grand Suite:

 

1) it is located forward of the Centrum, so looking directly aft from the balcony will give you a view of the Centrum hump that partially blocks your view of the ocean behind the ship, and

 

2) As with all of the deck 10 suites (with the possible exception of aft facing 1600) if you look directly up from the balcony you will be looking at the pool deck superstructure which blocks your view of the stars, and

 

3) Because of the way the lifeboats are mounted on Radiance class ships, if you look directly down from the balcony you will see the lifeboat cover superstructure which blocks your view of the wake caused as the ship moves, and

 

4) There may be a window washing platform located forward of the cabin when looking that way to where the lifeboat mounts end and the ship's forward cabins jut out.

We were next door to this suite on Serenade and the "obstruction" was a window washing machine.   Not that big.  Never moved.
