Rare noshoobie Posted May 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2022 Hi All -- I am sorry if this has been covered and I missed it. I am looking to book a cruise for early November but will not know if we are able to go until about a 3-4 weeks prior. Assuming the cruise is not sold out, do prices get cheaper or more expensive a month out? Can anyone give me their experience with booking so close to sail date? Thank you. Rare LHT28 Posted May 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2022 prices can go either way depending on the cruise line & itinerary If you need to fly to the port the airfare may wipe out any savings in prices from cruise fares If you have an itinerary in mind just keep checking closer to when you know you can travel Cabin selection will be limited Go to the cruise lines website & sign up for their deals just remember to read the fine print enjoy
Markanddonna Posted May 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2022 Early November is not high season for most cruises. If you are okay with an inside cabin, you will be okay.
Rare Mary229 Posted May 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2022 If you are a resident of the port state be sure to sign up for promotional alerts. I get last minute offers sailing from Galveston often. These are usually from 2 to 6 weeks out
