Why buy coffee & soda package vs. soda package + New grounds coffee package?

Coffee & soda package is $165/7 day cruise

Soda package is $85/7day cruise.

New grounds coffee package is $36/15 drinks.

 

What is the advantage of the coffee & soda package unless you are a HUGE speciality coffee/tea drinker?

 

(Interestingly both packages say mocktails are included tho the coffee & soda one says "zero-proof" mocktails--isn't that what a mocktail is??)

I don't see the advantage either. We plan to buy the soda/mocktail package for DH and coffee package separately. The coffee package is shareable and more than enough for the two of us for a 7-day cruise.

 

Unlike the alcoholic package where two guests must purchase it, it appears that only one (non-shareable) soda package may be purchased per cabin.
