Princess Transfer or Taxi?

We are starting our Alaska cruise with a land tour. We fly into Anchorage and have arranged our own flights.  I am trying to determine our options to get from the airport to the hotel in Anchorage that Princess has booked. Can we request a transfer through Princess even though we are arranging our own air?  Any cost comparisons to that vs taxi or Uber?

you can book a transfer in the cruise personalizer on princess website. 
 

I would take a taxi.

Take a taxi or Uber. Its not that far from the airport to downtown, its easier in my opinion, and probably less expensive.

Agree.  The distance between downtown Anchorage (assuming that is where the hotel is) and the airport is less than 15 minutes.

Take a taxi, the Princess transfer charge is person, while taxi fare is per ride.
