Wonder of the Seas vs carnival Mardi Gras

I am curious if anyone has sailed on one or both could shed some light as I am torn. I am in my 20s booking a college grad trip for me and my SO. Have been on several oasis class ships but never carnival so it could be exciting to try something new. My SO has never been on a cruise before however and the RC megashipsnare spectacular.

All ships are spectacular to someone who has never cruised before.  Maybe it is time to try another line.  EM

Sailing the Mardi Gras will be a different experience for sure.  We tried it once and it was not for us….
 

But since you are young….if you enjoy the mega party experience you will enjoy the Mardi Gras.  It is a beautiful ship….

Both ships are Royal Caribbean’s and Carnival’s newest ships so both will be expensive. The Wonder Of The Seas is currently the largest cruise passenger ship in the world. Be ready for crowds on both ships. If your younger and like a lot of action I would pick the Mardi Gras. If your looking for more of a subdued type voyage I would pick the Wonder Of The Seas.
