Mardi Gras- What curling iron WILL work?

I had issue with my curling iron not working in Mardi Gras cabin. Ugh. Any ladies willing to share the exact curling iron you have that DID work?  I saw prior posts about this topic but want to make sure I’m buying/ bringing a make/model that is proven to work!

I used a Lange Flat Iron and that worked fine.

Not a lady, but I can say I believe the issue is with ceramic-type curling irons/flatteners - it is how that type interacts with the available voltage and (so-called) ground.

 

This has been discussed a fair bit in the past - try searching the forum.  I recall seeing plenty of positive results (and negatives) posted in a few threads over the years.

I’ve used a Conair 3/4 inch curling iron on several Carnival ships with no issues.  Sorry, no model number.

My T3 did not work on the Sunshine, and my understanding is it has the same issues Mardi Gras does with hair tools
