Aruba Jeep on your own

We are going to the ABC next June 2023. We have 14-hours in Aruba which I think is nice and makes things much more doable. After looking at the cost of tours and excursions, it is about 50% less to just rent a Jeep. This will allow us to drive to the Natural Pool, Cali Lighthouse, the old gold processing and pool nearby, and some other sites and beaches along the way. I just wanted to see if others have done it. The price of a Jeep is about $125 w/o insurance. Figuring gas and all it would be about $175 for the day vs about $250 for a guided tour. The issue with a guided tour is you are stuck on group time instead of personal time.

 

Just wondering what others think that have rented a Jeep for the day.

Where did you find a Jeep that cheap.  Everything we have found is well over $200. We are going in March 2023.  It is very doable as we have done before.

More4Less Aruba. Just looking at their website for the price was all.

It is important to make sure that the company that you rent from allows you to take the jeep to the natural pool. A lot of jeep rental places don't because it can cause a lot of wear and tear on the vehicle.
