Coffee in room on Joy

Recommended Posts

The pods will be a standard, hotel-style paper pod.

If you want coffee in your room, and actually care about the taste of the coffee, your best bet is to order a carafe from the free continental breakfast room service.

You'll have a bunch of hang-tags in your room; put a checkmark next to coffee, and hang it on your stateroom doorknob before you go to bed.

It used to be balcony and above had coffee makers in the room. Now you have to request one. On our last two cruises one room had a tray with the coffee set up on the large shelf in the closet. I took it down the first day and left a note for our room steward to please restock the coffee amenities. The other cabin did not have one, but it was provided upon request. They are not Keurig type pots. They use the small filter packs.

My husband made coffee for us every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. He likes that better than waiting for room service to arrive. The first day we get a carton of milk from the buffet that I use for my coffee since I do not like creamers.
