Hi

If you have the time in case of a possible long wait on the phone (I just put the phone on speaker and go about things I need to do around the house), give them a call. That way everything if finalized right away. You will know the ship, sailing, cabin number, exact cost, everything done.

good luck

happy sailing

They called my husband this afternoon!!! 10 day cruise on Edge. So excited!!!!

We booked the December 3 Solstice Mexican Riviera through this offer. We are now trying to make reservations for specialty restaurants, drink package, wi-fi but do not see a way to get our Elite Plus discount on these. Anyone having similar issues?

You have to call X, the regular line not the casino line as if you call the casino line they'll transfer you.  Booking online with CC discounts has always been a problem regardless if it's a comped offer or paid in full.  Per speculation it's by design, a way to get more money out of people as X hopes folks don't realize the price doesn't include the CC discount when buying online.

Call the Blue Chip Club.   They give at least a 15% discount.  We got a premium alcohol package for our cruise for 28% off (BCC rep said it was 15% but it ended up being 28% when I did the math.) The online planner discount was 9%.    I am calling today for my specialty restaurant resy.

You can get a minimum 15% BCC discount on drink packages.

Off the drink package only.

I had already edited it to say 15% on drink package.

You sure discounts are only for drink packages?  The rep told me there were discounts on dining and shore excursions too and to  call back when I was ready to book them.

So, hubby got the offer for a free veranda from BCC, which we thought was odd because he's Pearl and hasn't gambled much at all. I know total has to be less than $100.

I wasn't sure about using the form so I phoned and got someone right away. I ended up getting a Veranda on Beyond for 7-nights on December 11th out of Ft. Lauderdale. Total tax & fees: $285. Unbelievable. I have already booked two excursions online because I had no idea there were discounts on those from the BCC! Is Celebrity truly having that much trouble filling the ships?

Despite having to buy air fare in December, and booking excursions through Celebrity instead of 3rd party, it's still going to be a dirt cheap cruise. Booking the same room direct with Celebrity was over $2500! And that was the cruise-only fare. I'm super excited because I've wanted to sail on an Edge class ship ship I first saw Edge, but the fares were always out of reach.

When i got my excellent discount on the premium package I asked the BCC rep about dining package discounts and she said there were only beverage package discounts available.

since i got a higher discount on the bev package than i expected, I didn't worry about the dining package so much.

The Blue Chip Club can only provide discounts on dining and excursions if you are eligible for any of these based on your Captain's Club tier.

Entirely possible a misinformed info, however they told me drink package discounts only and I do know they don't offer any internet discount because I've asked and they had to transfer me.  Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll ask them the next time I call possibly tomorrow.  IMO, it would make a lot of sense for them to include the discounted items in the email offer but perhaps it's by design they don't.

Love the Blue Chip Club offers.   We just finished our 4th free cruise since  July 2021.   1 on Edge,  1 on Infinity, 1 on Reflection (Upgraded to Sky Suite), 1 on Equinox.        We have booked Blue Chip Club cruises on Apex in November,  Solstice in April,   Solstice 17 day Tahiti to Sydney Cruise (Aqua Class) in October, and  Edge New Zealand Cruise in November 2023.   Most are just the taxes.   The Pacific cruises cost $10 per person per day plus taxes.    Once in a lifetime opportunity to cruise for so little cruise fare.

Another item is that comped sailings are eligible for MoveUp however you have to email CelebrityMoveUp@celebrity.com your booking number no earlier than 21 days.

I emailed them earlier and got the move up email somewhere around 70 days prior to sailing (this December). Might depend on the passenger load.

I got 2,800 points on a four-night sailing in April (ended up Onyx). I’ve never gotten an email, postcard. Does that seem right in anyone’s experience? Happy for those who are getting the offers! Bon voyage!

I am at Onyx level.   No idea how or why.    I play 99% Craps.....    and have no clue how they calculate the points.   There is a theoretical with a multiplier.   But the Math, no way adds up for me to have that many points.   But I love the free cruises they are giving me.    On the last cruise, there was a free cruise offer on my bed on the second night of the cruise......   I only lost. $200.

Is the Tahiti to Sydney cruise a free cruise or discounted cruise through BCC?  I would book that cruise!   We have 3 booked through BCC.  I did not see an offer on Tahiti or New Zealand.   My offers were Mexican Riviera and Caribbean cruises.

Generally the emailed "offers" you receive are hard to fill sailings, recent reports from Mexican Riviera sailings are they're sailing around half full.  The other hard to fill sailing is the Millie which is out of PR which requires airfare.  If you live in FL it may be cheaper to drive to the port and do a B2B on another ship vs the hassle of flying in and out of PR

You can call the BCC (I just got off the phone with them, wasn't on hold, on the phone with rep in 28 seconds including listening to the prompt) and ask if your play qualities for a discount or full comp off a specific sailing like Tahiti

Thanks.  I will give them a call.  In addition to free cruises, I have gotten hugely discounted quotes on fares.

Very true, twice they told me to "wait until 21 days before the sailing and reach out if it's not eligible".  Probably just depends which rep you get

Our Tahiti cruise, we booked on board...   as we had a new offer on our bed in the room on day 2.   The new offer was for any cruise all year.... 2023 on any non-Edge Class ship.     They also start with Aqua Class if it is available and go down from there.   So we got a Honolulu to Sydney via Tahiti and Aukland 17 days in Aqua Class for taxes plus $10 per person per day.   The total was around $780.00.

As I stated I just called the BCC as I wanted to know my tier points and asked about the discounts.  Disclaimer, this is from one rep only.  They said they can indeed book other items with your CC discounts but that they do not stack discounts nor are there any BCC specific discounts other than the 15% off the drink package.  As I stated maybe four ago I called to add the wifi and they had to transfer me to a regular/non-casino rep.  I'm being redundant but YMMV depending on the rep.
