The American Diner is, well a diner. Their lobster rolls are good, and we go for the shakes

Super quiet as always! But gosh I love those shakes. I can't go by a post without commenting on how perfect they are...I also cannot wait 18 days for me to have one (or 5)!

Well that sucks, does not seem fair that NCL thinks it's OK to refuse to honor the hard earned latitude perks at their discretion, yet believes that they don't owe us anything in return. SMH....

The explanation by the Cruise Next manager is that since they did the Latitudes returning guest party and the wine tasting, they don’t owe us anything else.

If you have the good fortune to sail in the Haven, the Haven restaurant is the place to dine. They pride themselves on the highest of standards and quality of food. It is far far far above the Coastal Kitchen on RCCL ships.

Note that fresh squeezed juices and specialty coffees available for an additional charge at other restaurants are complimentary in the Haven.

Who is in charge around here?

The Birds had a lovely chat with the Captain. We remember him from the Joy where we sailed with him to Alaska just prior to the pandemic shutdown.

Thanks! I always wondered if I would get to wear a uniform in my chosen career. Now I know I would...just not sure shipboard life is for me. 🙂

If you don’t want to have to fight with the chair hogs for a lounger, book the week in the exclusive Vibe Beach Club. This week it is hot, very humid and windy whilst the ship is underway. For us, the protection of the pool deck is a better place to be lounging.

The Breakaway/Breakaway+ ships have the unique feature of the Waterfront. A combined entertainment, dining, and relaxation area, you can sit under a covered walkway to read, relax, have a cocktail, or just watch the sea from comfy sofas and chairs or a table if you re playing a game or doing work (bad word on a cruise).
