bruce85 Posted April 16 #26 Share Posted April 16 Currently in the Seashore, sailing aurea, wristbands are not free. We purchased them on our last cruise and they where a waste for the most part. Great for opening doors but that's it. 90% of the time when you try to pay for.anything you still have to take out your sea card. Most bars don't have the pad that works with the bands. We didn't purchase them this time. The sea card does come with a hole prepunched in it.

Rare Essiesmom Posted April 17 #28 Share Posted April 17 (edited) On our Seaside cruise, I purchased one so that I could leave my card in the power slot by the door. I was usually the one opening the cabin door so my card went there. I am an early riser, my sister was seldom out of bed before noon unless we had an excursion. If I needed to take my card, I would have to hunt hers to replace mine, or leave her in the dark…so the bracelet was handy. I bought one again on my solo Seaside cruise, it didn’t bother on Seashore. Just a note: if you are doing a B2B and staying in the same cabin or same muster area, you can have the bracelet reprogrammed for the new cabin or dates. CruisnDeb Posted April 17 #29 Share Posted April 17 We actually found the bracelets to be quite functional when we cruised the Seascape in October. We didn't have any problems at the bars (they had these little white scanners they would pick up and we would tap it with the wristband.) It was great having my door open as I was approaching, especially when I was bringing a couple of coffees back to our stateroom. I liked that it is waterproof and I could go swimming with it. When we cruised Princess, they had the medallion ones.....these are so much more comfortable and we didn't have to worry about the medallion popping out of it. We only needed our cards in the casino and when we exited/entered the ship.
