Staying at the Hilton Tahiti pre cruise and want to see the waves at Teahupoo. I want to rent a car for 1 day. Suggestions?

You might consider an island tour with Fabrice of Tahiti Eden Tours. We had had a great circle tour of the island with lunch at Teahupoo. https://www.tahitiedentours.com/

Or easy walk to Avis from ship. Just enter on GPS.

But I like Dbld777 suggestion much better. And you can enjoy the scenery on the way without having to focus on driving.

Best cars?

Best customer service?

 

The PPT Hertz is a very short walk from the Hilton.

 

Most of the car rental companies will pick you up and take you to their closet office 😉
