Interesting grocery stores in Bergen and Oslo?

I always enjoy taking a quick walk through interesting grocery stores in cities in other countries.

 

What would be good ones to check out in Bergen and Oslo? 

 

My Bergen hotel (chosen for me via the Viking extension package) is: 

Bergen Bors Hotel,  Vagsallmenningen 1

 

My Oslo hotel (chosen for me via the Viking extension package) is: 

Thon Hotel Opera,  Dronning Eugenia’s Gate 4

Both our Oslo and Bergen hotels changed recently.

I almost didn’t notice that email from Viking.

I don't know if I'd call it interesting, but there is a fairly good size Coop in the main train station which is right next to the Thom Opera.  Also a 7-11, which is actually a bit different from the 7-11s in the US.

When we’re in Bergen, I would love to find some of that licorice yogurt we found at a grocery store in Iceland. Sounds iffy, but it was terrific! 
 

But maybe the love of licorice isn’t a Norwegian thing the way it is in Iceland …

I haven’t been to Iceland, but in Bergen they have many black licorice treats. One of the favourites is chocolate with a licorice filling. I believe it’s called Nero.

There’s a great supermarket - Coop Extra - in the Bergen Storsenter (a large modern mall) which is a 1/2 mile walk from your hotel. Apple Maps and Google Maps will show you walking routes.
