Luggage Question

Probably having a senior moment here but it's been about five years since our last (and only) Marella cruise.  We tend to cruise mainly from Southampton.  What happens about cases on the last night - do we have to put them outside the cabin ?  If so, what about the stuff we need for the morning which can't go in the plane hand luggage because of the liquids.  Any help from you seasoned Marella cruisers would be appreciated.

With printing out so many documents and getting tested (Corfu) this cruise is becoming quite stressful!

My wife and daughter just back from Cruise out of Corfu.

Yes they put their suitcases outside the cabin before they went to bed.

As for liquids over 100, then I’m afraid it’s hard luck.

Suggest you decant what you require in the morning into a small container.

I agree with you the amount of paperwork and do and don’t and testing is a real pain.

To be honest it was much easier booking at a TA and then all your tickets ect turned up about a month before the holiday.

IIRC limit for hand luggage liquids is 100ml. This is an airport security requirement. Cases outside cabin door by about 1am and don't forget to keep some clothes for the next day. It is surprising how many people only have their night clothes and have to make the embarrassing phone call to reception 😁

Thanks for the advice.  Yes it's all coming back to me now.  Must buy some small containers!

Don't forget if it's not bonded luggage you will see it again to load it onto the coach and airport check-in.

It may have changed since covid 🙄

Cruised in late June, anything we needed for the morning departure we left out.  There was plenty of time to transfer anything that needed putting back into the hold case before boarding coach for airport.
