Excursion onboard credit promotion

If your booking came with excursion onboard credit do you think it would be possible to use that as regular OBC? We would like to use it for specialty dining if possible. Just wondering if anyone else has tried.

There have been several reports back that they have treated it as just that …

Yep.  I just booked a cruise with a Princess cruise vacation planner  I mentioned that I probably wouldn't use the excursion credit.  I was very (happily) surprised when she said I could use it as regular OBC.

All OBC is in 2 "buckets"...refundable and non-refundable. No other distinction is made.

until it is ... if needed by Princess - kinda like boarding times and dress ... nevermind 🤬
