Advantage to Checking in 45 Days Early

I am taking my first X cruise this Thanksgiving and coming up on the 45 days out that I understand I can check in. Is there an advantage to checking in that early? I know on Carnival since the restart checking in early as a suite/Platinum guess the two days early allowed for an early boarding time so there was an advantage. Is  there some advantage for me to check in at the 45 day mark on X?

I really think the only advantage of checking in early is to get the desired check-in time you wish.   Sites and Zenith can board anytime but others are assigned specific check-in times.

It is also part of the anticipation knowing the cruise is coming close.

You do not need to do advance Check-In  just like airlines.   It must makes things easier.
