Celebrity Edge Vs. Equinox

Who has cruised both Edge and equinox and which do you prefer? Please explain why on your choice. Thanks

Equinox for veranda as not a fan of the infinite veranda.  Actually prefer M class as smaller more intimate.

Today we actually cruise by the itinerary as not many West coast USA cruises.

Both are excellent.  Equinox is more traditional and the veranda cabins have balconies. The Edge is new, modern has new restaurants and venues.  Most cabins do have have traditional balconies but rather Infinite Verandas some  hate them others love them.  If you are thinking of booking a Suite then hands down The Edge wins with a great Suite only Sundeck, lounge and restaurant.  The E class ships were designed for the Retreat (suite only areas) while the Equinox had a Retreat sun deck there is no pool.

I love both, but prefer the Edge because of its great entertainment.

We’ve sailed the Edge two times and the Equinox several times. I’d agree with others that the Equinox has actual balconies although on both our cruises on Edge we were in suites and had actual balconies. The retreat area on edge is very nice. Loved the pool deck. Can’t really comment on he infinite veranda on edge because we’ve not had one.
